At Clean and Green we know that mowing is just a small part of expert lawn care. Fertilization and weed control is the only way to have the greenest and thickest grass in the neighborhood. Traditionally this has required undesirable chemicals to be constantly added to your yard. Here at clean and green we’ve found a better option. With our organic fertilization and weed control we can tackle unwanted weeds and dead spots with chemicals that won’t burn your lawn or risk polluting nearby shrubbery.
Fall & Spring Cleanup
We can provide your landscaping a fresh start in the spring for your lawn and landscaping. We would clear out all debris in the lawn and landscaping. We would also trim the bushes and trees if needed. Mowing and trimming the edges to give a good clean cut to start. If mulch needs to be replaced or added we make your beds look good.
Fall clean up can help to get a fresh start in the spring. Leaves and any other debris will be cleaned and removed. Beds and landscaping will be cleaned and trimmed as much as possible. Any other jobs we will be able to help with.
Aeration
Aeration involves perforating the soil with small holes to allow air, water and nutrients to penetrate the grass roots. This helps the roots grow deeply and produce a stronger, more vigorous lawn. The main reason for aerating is to alleviate soil compaction. We can do anytime during the season.
Power Raking
Power raking is the more aggressive approach to taking thatch out of your lawn. This process involves a machine about the size of a push mower that uses mechanical flails to literally dig the thatch out of your lawn. It can pick up 2 ½ – 4 times more thatch than dethatching.
Grub Control
It is often best to put down grub preventers from April through mid-July when grubs are ready to hatch. If you want to stop grub damage right away, the best time to apply a grub killer to your lawn is when you first see signs of damage.
